Parading round Parekklisia

Long lie this morning again, oh it's a delight to be home although I'm not sure the hound thinks so, legs crossed and sprint.  We milled around the house before taking Stitch up the mountains overlooking Limassol, now I confused Lou when I told her we went up the mountain that is in fact down the mountain from where we live, but to be honest she is easily confused I only have to tell you the scenario with the two chickens for you to realise confusion comes easily to her, facetime was quite amusing when she called to ask if one chicken takes an hour forty, does two take double...... err no came the reply from the beloved one (ex chef and all around jack of all trades) and lets not even get on to the birds not touching.

The walk was hard work going up the mountain track with sandals,(not bright) but coming down was worse, we walked all the way up the mountain top and watched some bikers who either had fallen off or were having a pee break, I couldn't tell my zoom lens wouldn't go in that far.

Stitch was lagging behind, I think having spent all that time in the doggie Hotel has worn down his fitness, but that will get fixed soon enough, he never was a very fat dog but he appears to have lost a lot of weight during his holiday, I thought it was just my imagination having spent a little time with a couple of big dogs recently, but my beloved concurs he is skin and bone, so we have upped his food intake a touch, also I have never known him eat so fast and the burps at the end are just rank, maybe he was on once a day feeds who would know but he is back on our routine and twice a day feeds resume.

The afternoon was spent in and out of the garden watching the local football team play at the grounds close to the house, we don't need to buy tickets we just hang over the verandah, the firecrackers were a bit much though, initially I couldn't understand why anyone would take a shotgun to a game but my beloved informed me they were in fact firecrackers, and as they were let off on the outside of the seating area (outside the ground too) the noise resonated around Parekklisia. Sounds disturbing but it wasn't really, although I hate the sound of football games, can't even listen to the commentary on the radio as the noise just gives me the hebejebbies, but the one thing I did find amusing was mannnnnn those games take forever, it's just went on and on, at least I could amuse myself in the garden with my hound so at least my boredom levels were kept in check.

We spent another evening watching the computer, The Mentalist it is now, and we don't have many left to watch, myself I have seen them all anyway but my beloved is still playing catch up, well it was either that or listen to Cyprus MTV all night.
