After sunning ourselves in the garden this morning we decided to take Stitch for a walk down the prom, only because the breeze had gotten up and it was becoming very irritating keeping beach towels on sun beds and nailing a dog to the floor is illegal! And a touch nasty. The beach front was lovely and hot but still breezy, we walked along the prom and up through some of the back roads, we did an about turn when we came across two rather large looking hounds as we didn't want another episode like the first time I took Stitch out having picked him up from his hotel, I forgot to mention that we were set upon by two squat looking beasts who's human came running after them speaking Greek, luckily for Stitch and myself I had his harness on which made lifting him a lot easier, they were vicious little snipes and one of them got my foot in it's side to get it off me, more care will be taken walking past that house again, why do people leave their dogs untethered if they know they will escape is beyond me.
We took Stitch to the supermarket, I have to say I'm not sure if he enjoyed it as you can't really see much from the back of the car, but shopping was done and the fridge is full, then it was time for home again. My life revolves around going up and down the mountain, where as before it was in and out of Kolossi.
Feeding Stitch later in the day proved to be a messy affair as trying to put his fancy oil in his food lead to me dropping it on the floor and smashing the lid, I then had a hound covered in oil and trying to lick up the remainder from the floor, my beloved was called for and he himself became covered in oil too, but had I left Stitch too it his business would have been a very squirty affair, but at least we will all have nice skin now, ours too because we were covered in it and Stitches because he managed to ingest far more than he should have.
Disaster struck as we were about to watch more Mentalist on the computer, the lead decided to play up, so now we are watching through the iPad connected to the TV and a new lead for the computer is required, I love technology but when it goes wrong it's a pain in the butt.
Two days ago whilst traipsing around downstairs I discovered a little gecko on the floor, not wanting to touch it I gave it a little push with my foot as I wasn't sure if it was dead or alive, this lead to it's tail coming off and I realised that it was in fact alive, I knew this because it's tail continued to move!!!! even though the gecko who was now on it's back doing a starfish impression appeared at the very least concussed, I really don't think I will ever get used to the beasts over here, or anywhere for that matter, I keep having horrible thoughts that if I leave something for any length of time a beast will sneak in to it and cosy up, which is great especially if it's a jacket and I will then have my very own live embellishments ewwwwwwwwww
