Today was such a lazy day, well it was for doing anything other than the housework and I really wish I could train Stitch to help with that, obviously him chasing and biting at the sweeper isn't much help, nor is bringing half the garden in the house, we have to constantly throw stones back out into the garden as Stitch likes to collect them. The washing machine is still driving me around the twist as I can't get rid of the smell that seeps from within it, I almost left the washing until we move into our new house but decided that a weeks washing was too much to transport from one house to another.
Stitch is now using his cone of shame to flick up stones he wants to carry into the house, he is getting quite adept at this now and when your walking all you hear is the scraping of the cone on the floor as he tries to flick the stones, he has also figured out that he can still reach his cut even with the cone on his head so I can't see that it will completely heal and another trip to the vet for a couple of stitches may be required.
Today I mailed K9 solutions which is the dog training specialist in Paphos that I'm hoping to get an appointment with, I wait with baited breath for the response, then I can get a few little glitches ironed out with my lovely Stitch, the worst of which is the jumping, although I have to say with the cone of shame on his head he is a little better, so maybe I should just leave the cone on forever!
During the evening I gave Stitch one of those clean your teeth chew things that are made of something disgusting that when chewed and wet become slimy and jellified, this was great until having unravelled the two ends Stitch preceded to swallow it, this was not his best idea as it became stuck between up and down, and breathing became difficult, we had to catch hold of him remove the cone of shame and get him to drink to make the thing slide down his throat, all whilst he was retching, YUK, thankfully my beloved was on hand to get him to drink water and the problem resolved, but I'm not sure I will be giving him one of those again anytime soon......
Israel has been celebrating Purim just recently and these are a couple of pics we received from Ety, how I wish I was there to celebrate with them
