Baking Soda and Apple Cider

Today we were up extra early as the movers and packers are coming for a check of the belongings needed to be moved from Kolossi to Pareklisia, that was great the bedding was in the washing machine the house was organised and then I received the phone call telling me they would not be arriving until 3pm, doh.

Stitch and I put the washing out, well I hung the washing Stitch ate the pegs, and then we headed off for a jolly around Limassol, we headed up towards Pareklisia first to check our new address which does not appear on google maps, very odd as it is not a new road as such and has the fire station at the top and round the bend, well when I say fire station what I mean is a firetruck under an open shed with a wooden hut, so anyway I took the address off the road sign and tried google and waze neither of which picked up the address but luckily they do pick up the football field which is out front of the house so at least I have a landmark for anyone visiting. We headed back down into Limassol and walked along the beach passed Le Meridien and St Raphael resorts and then back along the road, but not before I found a new pet shop to have a look around, superb so right at the bottom of the mountain hill is a great pet shop selling the five star food that I have for Stitch, the lady in the store gave Stitch a couple of chews which were dental vegetable chews and we headed back to the car, when I arrived home I tried Stitch with one of the chews, he devoured it in minutes, it was quite funny to see a chew in the shape of a toothbrush hanging out of his mouth as he chewed, and chewed and chewed it.

So 3pm came and went and eventually at 4pm after going out to meet Panikos the removal man who couldn't find our address the house was assessed for moving, then it was time to start the supper, vegetable lasagne it was, although next time I will have to slice my carrots a little thinner as they were more al dente than they should have been but overall the dish was lush.

Whilst supper was cooking Stitch and I had a little lead training in the garden, he is so good off the lead around the back of the house and through the fields, and he is pretty damned good on the lead but just needs a little fine tuning with walking to heel and not stopping to sniff every post and tree, so I was doing the change direction training every time he pulled on the lead, the trouble was I was getting very dizzy with all the turns and god knows how he was feeling but we kept it up for a good 15 mins with plenty of praise until I could do dizzy no more and headed in to check on the supper. After supper it was more training and this time it was getting Stitch away from my beloved whilst he was making up some dishes for tomorrow, eventually I got him to his mat and waiting whilst my beloved tinkered on the side, but I think this training is going to be as long as the walking to heel training because poor Stitch just wants to hoover underneath any food waiting for potential fallout....

Three days ago I had to do some investigating as my head was driving me nuts, every now and then I have a burning sensation on my scalp and for some reason it had triggered again this week, so after doing some investigation I am now using a home made shampoo and conditioner to alleviate the symptoms, so far so good the burning and itching is abating and the only downside to this treatment is having curly hair I now look like the wild woman of Borneo, today I added a little of my serum after it was conditioned to try and tame the curls which helped immensely and after it was dry I tied it up and out of the way, I'm hoping that my wayward curls will eventually just relax enough for me to resemble something a little more sleek and slinky as opposed to wild and bouffant.

Shampoo 8fl oz water to 1tbsp baking soda use only on scalp avoid the ends of hair especially if dry ( note to self remember that)
Conditioner 8fl oz water 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar leave on for a minute or so then rinse off

use only every 3/4 days in between I just wash hair anyway but without products of any kind. These two bottles are enough to last at least four washes apparently, simple remedy and cheap like the budgie....
