Mount Olympus

Today Stitch and I had an appointment at the vet, injections for Kennel cough were required in case we need to take him for a holiday, obviously he would holiday in the kennels and we would be elsewhere but sometimes little pup dog would not be able to travel with us. The vet I took him to was called the Happy Valley and when we arrived firstly I couldn't figure out how to get in the double gates and secondly there was nobody around to shout at, in a nice way of course.

I parked the car outside and walked around to the gates and what do you know I found the button that opens the gates, Stitch and I were greeted by a mini goat, the cutest thing you have ever seen, with it's little coat on I thought it was one of those Chihuahua things, Stitch must have realised it wasn't anything scary because he took no notice of it.  Injections were given and an appointment for a booster and then we took a walk around the roads for a business trip which proved to be none productive and then headed to Limassol, lens check required.  The optician informed me it must be a dodgy batch that was causing my eye strain and lack of iPhone vision, if you can't read your iPhone your in trouble!

We then headed to The Crowne to meet the relatives for a trip up Mount Olympus, the relatives wanted to go up the mountain as they live under Mount Olympus in Utah, so we headed up The Troodos to the top, stopping on route to take in the view and get some pictures, we also took in the visitor centre where my cousin got talking to another fire fighting forest ranger, they talked fires for a while and then it was up to the top for us, we took our lunch at the top before heading to the highest point we could reach without be arrested my some military personnel or another, the snow was lying in the high points, and over the trees, and although a little chilly it wasn't as chilly as the time my beloved and I had taken a trip up there.

On the way back down we did a wine tasting session and bottles were purchased, you understand that I didn't taste nor purchase because if I'm not drinking I'm not buying it for my beloved, selfish I know but he will get wine when I get over this fasting, until then he can make do with beer.

I left the family at The Crowne and headed home for a quick change before we were heading out again for our supper, we had decided to try the fish restaurant in Pareklisia, so we picked up the relatives and headed up the mountain.  The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but soon filled up with local people, always a good sign when a restaurant is full of local people and not Brits, and we checked out the menu and then asked for a little help from the waiter, we chose four starter dishes to share and the boys then went to pick the fish, they came back with the waiter and a platter full of fish to show us girls and then the platter was taken into the kitchen for the chef to do his thang.

We had a delightful meal of spicy prawns, garlic prawns, stuffed Calamari, Striped Sea Bream and Grouper to name a few, and we thoroughly enjoyed it, from start to finish the food and the company was wonderful, and we can't wait to go back, well it would be rude not to as it is only around the corner from our new home.

When we arrived home we were met with blood on the floor, not a great deal but enough for me to panic as Stitch had been home alone, we investigated and found a cut just as the base of his penis area so we disinfected it and had to put him to bed until the morning when I would call the vet.
The relatives heading home Saturday been too long but think we will be visiting Utah very soon
