This morning I was up with the birds, My Beloved on the other hand was feeling the effects of too much food, it couldn't possibly be to much alcohol as he is a Geordie and informs me that they know how to handle their drink, I beg to differ, they can in fact drink it, they just can't cope with the stopping...
So Stitch and I had our morning walk around the garden, Stitch lifting his leg to all the trees, me on rabbit patrol, for some reason and having googled this, it is not unusual but dogs like rabbit poo, so now we have to keep a check on the little one foraging, which is not easy when you have a terrier cross who has a nose that is only just off the ground anyways.
We eventually managed to coax My Beloved out of his bed and then I prepared loving I might add a full english breakfast, well it was kind of full, no tomatoes or bread but you get the idea, unfortunately My Beloved was so under that weather he could not eat his breakfast and has now been told he won't be getting any more cooked meals from me, he looked at me with his puppy dog eyes and said 'can you save it for me', a slight reprieve!
We had a car to collect again today, our driveway is beginning to resemble a used car lot just now, I dropped My Beloved off and Stitch and I went to Starbucks, having not bought a poop bag with me I left Stitch in the car collected my skinny cappuccino and then headed to the kiosk for cheese and onion crisps as requested by My Beloved, that was when I realised I had left my purse in Starbucks, so I rushed back around the corner and thankfully my purse was there, I then headed back to the kiosk bought the crisps and was given a nice poop bag for Stitch, so I collected him from the car and took him on a walk around the front of Limassol, he was so much better behaved today, I even managed to get him to sit nicely and wait for the green man to click on to allow us to walk across the road, it was so nice to walk without having to carry the hound across the road, I did have to keep the lead short so he wouldn't tangle himself around the traffic lights but it's a great improvement, we watched the world go by and enjoyed the January sunshine, then it was time to head home and meet up with My Beloved.
We decided on an afternoon walk along the beach at Kourion we met a British bulldog who must have been two hundred years old, offt what an ugly hound, and what a noise it made when it breathed, I would say someone should put vicks up that dogs nose to clear his tubes. Stitch had a great walk until it was time to get back in the car, he preferred to check out the young lady standing by the water, luckily he is such a petted hound he didn't go past her and I managed to bring him back to the car.
We decided to stop in at the local on the way home for a swifty, Stitch was allowed in and spent his time cowering under the table until we picked him up and he sat on My Beloved's lap, this is his favourite position to be in I must say, for someone who doesn't like terriers My Beloved spends a lot of time liking this one.
Our evening was spent watching the Zoo keeper it was quite a funny film especially the gorilla with brain freeze, I remember the times in Haifa when iced coffee was the order of the day and the minute you took too big a sip you knew you were in trouble, I spent many an afternoon with My Beloved in Mandarin just for the crack of watching him with his brain freeze just after he came out of hospital.
