Finding a pee spot on your water cooler is just wrong, but when the sneaky little beast did it I have no idea, that cow bell around his neck is looking better and better.
I remember the days when the children were young and you couldn't even get a pee in peace, and to think I thought they were distant memories, now I have two beady eyes follow me when I leave the living room, the only reason Stitch can't follow is because of the blockade that we have placed in the corridor, this morning it took four attempts for me to get to the toilet, every time I stepped over the blockade which happens to be three footstools Stitch was up on two paws looking over, eventually I got him to stay down and could pee in a sort of peace, the kind where your not quite sure what your going to find on your return.
Second vets visit this morning for an antibiotic injection and Stitch performed magnificently, again I wonder how a dog can be scared of the dark, and noisy traffic but have no interest when a whopping great needle is stuck in his hind quarters.
We had a visit to The Crowne Plaza but apart from lovely Giorgio and Ioana our other friends were all off today, so we had a Frappe in the sun whilst chatting with Giorgio who has bought himself a soft top and was telling us all about it. Maria called whilst I was there to say she is on annual leave just now so no doubt another trip will be needed.
Stitch had a walk along the beach after the Frappes and then back to the car along the road, he was much better on the lead with the traffic today, although freeze mode still sets in when motor bikes go past, I do believe he would be great at musical statues but only if you used motor bike noises just for the crack, obviously he would be in reverse of everyone else because he would be moving when the noise stopped, he wouldn't win many prizes but it would be funny.
I hate cleaning an oven and today was the day, I blocked Stitch in the utility room with me so I could see him, this still didn't stop the little rascal, my newly washed door rug, which happens to be a bathroom rug for wiping our feet was peed on, I did wonder why he was pawing at it, but how come I have a male dog who pee's standing up with all four paws on the floor, very strange, anyway after throwing the mad outside and chastising the hound, the mat was flung in the washing machine and I continued with my cleaning, distractions of any kind are always welcome when cleaning an oven tray!
We had a large amount of wood delivered today, this will mean no more hobo trips picking up wood on our walks, and no more buying wood in Fassouri, I will miss the old girl who sells it, she has little English and Garry has little Greek, but between the two of them we get what we need, pffft means burns quick and ahhhh is a good slow burn with plenty of heat..... Stitch eventually was brave enough to go out and see the guys who delivered the wood, one of whom was Angelos, unfortunately Angelos has a dog and for some strange reason Stitch rather liked his leg, lets not dwell on that subject.
My Beloved made the supper mainly because we still had mince from the day before and I still don't like it very much, but it is amazing what you can mask when you curry it, Stitch was being a real pain in the arse around Garry's feet so doggy training started, I sat at the sofa and kept him there, every time he tried to move to the kitchen I bought him back, man this dog stuff is tiring, eventually he gave up with the help of a few treats, and we ate our supper in peace, he did walk around the table a few times but eventually just went for a snooze, obviously doesn't like being ignored.
