Pafos with the pup

Day trip to Pafos
And what's in the bag
This morning Stitch introduced himself properly to the neighbours, he said hello to the Grand Dad, the Daughter and the grandson, all of whom love him, then it was time for an outing to Pafos, we took the quickest route to the petrol station as fumes don't do good things to the car, then it was off to The Secret Valley for a look around, what a beautiful place and I know some of our golfing friends who would love it.

My Beloved has just informed me that yesterday when I was watching the world go by it was in fact February and not January, I really do need to keep a track of the calendar but being a Happy Housewife I really don't see the need.

We continued on our way and ended up in Starbucks but this time in Pafos, a change of scenery but the coffee stays the same, from there we went off to Coral bay just outside Pafos, what a beautiful village that was.  Lunch was taken in Pafos and we sat in the sunshine once more, but obviously in February, Stitch behaved wonderfully until a little bitch wagged her tail at him, and then he whimpered because he wanted to say hello, we waited until we were leaving to allow a greeting of the noses, and happy with that he wagged his tail and off we wandered along the harbour.

Festival time is almost upon us in Cyprus I seem to remember when we were here last year we caught the parade in Limassol, now every roundabout and some of the roadsides are decorated with big clowns and flags are decorating the areas too, and for some obscure reason there are snowmen too, maybe they are just leftovers from Christmas!

Our evening was spent in the Angel which is just along the road in Kolossi until Natalie and Angelos turned up we were the youngest in there by about 20 years, we thought maybe it was bingo night but then we found out it was the barkeeps naming day and it was free food all round so everyone had come out to help him celebrate, this was not locals you understand as obviously they were not tempted by the thought of free food, this was the expat locals not one Cypriot was there apart from barkeep that is.  We had left Stitch blockaded in the utility room and when we eventually arrived home some four hours later we were met by two beady eyes peeking over the second blockade which leads to the main living room, obviously quite a clever doggie as the first blockade was still in place but just pushed forward enough for a little one to get through, thankfully there were not parcels or dribble marks anyway.

Tired out after his outing
